I heard a great sermon on this scripture. The man said that he put his name in where the word love is..."Micahel is patient, Michael is kind..." and saw how badly he daily fell short. Then he realized, "Jesus in Michael is patient", "Jesus in Michael is kind"... It is definitely not a scripture I can accomplish or reflect in my own strength.
I really liked the idea of putting my name in place of love, but then I stopped. Who was I kidding? I'm not very loving when it comes down to it. That's why it has been so difficult for me to remember this scripture. Praise the Lord that loving doesn't depend upon me, but upon Christ, because I only love when I want to love :(

This is my card! A friend and I were doing scripture memory last year together and this is where I got stuck (not that I was very faithful with the other ones or anything. Maybe she and I need to pick it back up.
